I was wondering if anyone could give me more information on how house dancing has some roots in the lindy hop or any of the dances from the Harlem Rennissance?

I don't have much for you, but I can tell you house was inspired from damn near all footwork before it, and even some after it from the following generation

House Dance is an umbrella term for a variety of social and club dances.
So my understanding of the connection of lindy to house is the foundation step called the shuffle or the 3 way.
it came from the lindy hop/ Charleston era of dancing.
check out this vid of some old school charleston dancers dubbed with house music.

It love seeing these types of compilations. It's pretty mindblowing to see that while dance is always evolutionizing, it's still so grounded in timelessness.
